ASH BRAZILL has become the third AFLW player to win gold at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Part of the Diamonds, Australia's netball team, Brazill played through the midcourt as the Aussies were pushed to the last siren by Jamaica's Sunshine Girls, ultimately taking the win 55-51.

Brazill has played 16 games for Collingwood while also balancing netball duties for the club and is best known for her athletic dashes out of defence and was even tried out in attack late last season.
The Pies will now work with Brazill to assess her availability for AFLW season seven.
She joins Maddison and Teagan Levi from Gold Coast in bringing gold home from the Games, with the sisters part of Australia's dominant Rugby 7's team which beat Fiji in the gold medal game 22-12. Older sister Maddison scored 10 tries throughout the tournament.
Maddison was taken by the Suns with pick 50 ahead of the 2021 season and played eight games last year, while Teagan joined the club with pick six the following draft. The duo has been listed as inactive for 2022 to focus on their rugby.
