AISLING McCarthy has made a dream return to AFLW football, receiving a perfect 10 coaches' votes for her performance against Port Adelaide on Saturday.

First-gamer Abbey Dowrick also impressed the coaches, with the 19-year-old picking up seven votes.

In her first game in Essendon colours, Maddy Prespakis netted the maximum votes, while Ruby Schleicher also picked up a perfect 10 for her role across half-back and in the midfield against Carlton.

Jasmine Garner's 27-disposal game against Gold Coast saw her awarded the maximum votes, while 29-year-old debutant Eilish Sheerin picked up six votes for her excellent work against Geelong.
