AT LEAST 30 AFLW home and away matches per season will be broadcast live and free on the Seven Network from 2025 onwards, as part of the AFL's new broadcast deal with Seven and Foxtel.

The agreement, worth $4.5 billion dollars, will run for seven seasons from 2025 until 2031 and covers AFL and AFLW broadcasting arrangements.

Under the deal, AFLW finals and the AFLW Grand Final will be exclusively broadcasted on the Seven Network.

Increased digital streaming is another feature of the deal, with all AFLW games broadcast on the Seven Network also available on 7+ digital.

Every single AFLW match will be broadcast on Foxtel and Kayo, with each having its own designated Fox Footy commentary team, a departure from the current broadcast arrangement which sees Fox Footy use Seven Network commentary for select games.

All AFLW events, such as the W Awards, will be broadcast on Foxtel and Kayo.
