The NAB AFLW Premiership Cup Tour has today continued its journey around the nation, making its way to Brisbane after the launch of the inaugural Cup Tour at Adelaide Oval last Friday. 
 
The Premiership Cup visited Brisbane today on the picturesque Brisbane foreshore, with Head of AFL Queensland Trisha Squires, Brisbane Lions AFLW players Nat Grider and Orla O’Dwyer and Captain of 2021 Brisbane Lions Premiership Team and Current Head Coach for Lions Academy Girls Program Emma Zielke all in attendance.
 
Queensland Girls Secondary Schools Sports Association players from Ipswich Grammar and Somerville House were also in attendance to welcome the cup, along with 2022 AFLQ Most Promising Boundary Umpire Grace Wilkin.


  
Following this morning’s stop, the Cup will make its way to Calamvale on Wednesday and visit the Calamvale Leopards Junior Football Club – a club that sits in the highest multicultural electorate in Queensland.

The Cup will also visit Morningside Panthers Football Club and St Peter’s Lutheran College on Thursday to round out the Brisbane leg of the Tour, before travelling to Cairns on Friday.
