The NAB AFLW Premiership Cup has arrived in Melbourne today, as part of the final week of the inaugural 2022 NAB AFLW Premiership Cup Tour.
NAB AFLW Premiership Cup Ambassador Abbey Holmes was in attendance at the official launch to welcome the Cup, alongside two-time All-Australian Melbourne AFLW player Lauren Pearce and premiership players from the Western Region Football League.
As part of its visit to Melbourne, the Cup travelled to Whittlesea Junior Football Club which has experienced an increase in female participation with four girls' sides and an additional women’s side in 2022.
Today, the Cup made its way to Sacred Heart Primary School in Croydon to visit students alongside AFL Schools Ambassador and AFLW Collingwood player Steph Chiocci, who was in attendance to speak to students about the inaugural NAB AFLW PremiershipCup Tour and all things AFLW.
