Georgie Prespakis polled six votes for Geelong against St Kilda, just enough for her to hold onto the overall lead after the first five rounds in the AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year Award.

However, the Cats star has been handed a two-match suspension for a dangerous tackle on the Saints' Erin McKinnon, making her position at the top precarious to say the least.

North Melbourne's Jasmine Garner scored a perfect 10 and sits just one point adrift in second, while Prespakis' sister Maddie also got maximum votes and is four points further behind in third.
