The Coles AFLW Fan Awards are back for season seven, and the people have had their say.
After a stellar season of AFLW, fans have told us about the moments that mattered and the players that made an impact.
Check out the winners below.
Most Valuable Player
Jasmine Garner (NMFC)
Garner took out the AFL Coaches' Association AFLW Player of the Year Award, so it's no surprise to see fans feel the same way about the courageous Kangaroo. Garner's incredible drive - and ability to slot a sneaky goal - helped North Melbourne get over the line several times during season seven, with her value reflected in the Coles AFLW Fan Awards, being voted the fans' Most Valuable Player.
Most Improved Player
Abbie McKay (CARL)
The AFLW's first father-daughter pick, McKay took her game to a new level in season seven. Several off-season departures meant McKay had to step up in Carlton's midfield, and step up she did, becoming a key cog in the Blues' engine room. Her rapid improvement has earned her the title of Most Improved Player in the Coles AFLW Fan Awards.
Social Superstar
Emma O'Driscoll and Laura Pugh (FREM)
Fremantle's twin terrors Emma O'Driscoll and Laura Pugh brought the laughs this year with their hilarious social media posts, documenting life on the road. There was no situation O'Driscoll and Pugh couldn't find the lighter side of, earning them the Coles AFLW Fan Awards' Social Superstar gong.
Moment of the Year
Round 1: Sophie Locke goals after losing her mum
Hawthorn debutante Sophie Locke tragically lost her mum to cancer just two weeks before she played her first game for the Hawks. In front of a huge crowd at Marvel Stadium, Locke kicked Hawthorn's historic first AFLW goal, and celebrated with a touching tribute to her mother. There wasn't a dry eye in the stadium, and fans voted Locke's tribute as their Moment of the Year in the Coles AFLW Fan Awards.
Game of the Year
Round 9: Adelaide v Geelong
It was a taste of finals action two weeks before finals even started, with reigning premier Adelaide going up against big improvers Geelong during round nine. The Crows were without inspirational captain Chelsea Randall, but the two sides couldn't be split all game. The Cats kept surging in the final few minutes, but the Crows were able to keep them at bay and eke out a two-point victory. The match will go down as an all-time classic, and has been voted by fans as their Game of the Year in the Coles AFLW Fan Awards.
Match-Winning Moment
Round 10: Ellie Blackburn's match-winner beats the Blues
The equation was simple for the Western Bulldogs in round 10: Win, and make finals for the first time since 2018. But Carlton put up a huge fight, and for a while it looked like the Dogs would file at the final hurdle. Enter Ellie Blackburn. The Bulldogs' skipper's will to win was enormous, and with her side three points down with less than two minutes left on the clock, she delivered. Her around-the-corner kick from just shy of the 50m arc bounced over the goal line, and secured the Dogs' finals spot. It was a moment for the ages, and has been voted by fans as the Match-Winning Moment of season seven in the Coles AFLW Fan Awards.
