COLLINGWOOD's star recruit Bri Davey has been cleared of serious injury and could yet face her former club Carlton in the big NAB AFL Women's clash at Ikon Park on Sunday.
There were fears Davey had suffered a break in her lower left leg as she writhed in agony after a marking contest in the third quarter of the Magpies' win over West Coast at Victoria Park on Sunday.
However, the champion midfielder has made a seemingly miraculous recovery that could clear the way for her to line up against the Blues.
The Magpies revealed that scans on Monday showed nothing more serious than minor soft-tissue damage.

The equation is simple: if Davey gets through training this week she'll play.
"We will assess Bri through the week in rehab and on the training track and look to make a call on her playing the Carlton match at training on Friday," Collingwood AFLW physical performance manager Chris Howley said.
Davey will be determined to take on Carlton, the club where she was a club champion and captain when she made the shock move to Collingwood.
