STAR forward Tayla Harris has wasted no time celebrating her latest boxing victory, returning to Carlton training just hours after claiming the Australian super welterweight title on Friday night.
The 22-year-old won the title after a technical knockout victory against Janay Harding at Melbourne Pavilion.
With Carlton teammates including Maddy Prespakis and Jess Hosking watching on, Harris proved far too strong for her opponent as the referee called the bout off in the fourth round.
Her seventh win in eight fights came just five weeks after landing the Australian middleweight title over Margarite Butcher at the same venue.
Harris was back at pre-season training at Ikon Park by 9am on Saturday morning as her attention shifts to the fourth season of the NAB AFL Women's competition starting February 7.
It has been a big year for Harris, gaining international headlines after hitting out at trolls on social media after a picture of her kicking for goal went viral in March.
