The 18-year-old scuffled with Greater Western Sydney midfielder Britt Tully late in the fourth quarter of the Tigers' 45-point thrashing after McClelland tried to bring Tully down in a tackle.

She lifted the Giant off the deck by the scruff of her jumper and slammed her back to the ground, where Tully's head hit the grass.

The incident was classified as intentional conduct, high contact with medium impact.

"It was an off-the-ball incident and Laura grabbed Britt Tully by the jumper and forcefully slammed her head into the ground," Match Review Officer Michael Christian said.

"The action, because it was so far off the ball, was graded as intentional conduct and then it came down to a question of impact.

"In assessing the player reaction, she never returned to the field. The visual look of the incident and also the medical report was taken into account in determining that it was medium impact."
