AFLW superstar Erin Phillips has revealed her distress after she was forced to flee a pride march following a suspected shooting in Washington DC on Sunday.
The USA's capital was thrown into chaos after a man threatened to fire a gun during a LGBTQ parade. Although it was later confirmed by local police no shots were fired, Phillips was caught up in the panic that caused seven people to be taken to hospital.
I was only about 100m from a suspected shooting at the DC Pride parade. Ran and hid with the thousands of others in complete fear. How has the world come to this? The world my kids will grow up in. ??
