ADELAIDE two-time premiership player Hannah Button will miss the 2023 AFLW season after tearing an ACL for the second time.
Button was training with SANFLW side West Adelaide on Wednesday night when she suffered the injury to her left leg.
The 26-year-old previously ruptured her right ACL playing VFLW with NT Thunder in mid-2019.
"Unfortunately, Hannah has been down this road before," Adelaide head of AFLW Phil Harper said.
"She had decided to play some games at West Adelaide in yet another endeavour by her to improve her performance for the benefit of the team and to suffer this injury is very disappointing.

"We know how diligent and hardworking she is therefore she will do everything she can in her rehabilitation to come back from the injury and the club will fully support her during that time."
Adelaide will move defender Button to the inactive list for the 2023 season, meaning she won't count in the 30 listed players for its season.
