REIGNING premiers Adelaide have suffered a double injury blow ahead of Saturday's season-opener against Brisbane, with experienced defender Courtney Cramey and midfielder Sophie Li not making the trip.
Cramey – a dual-premiership winner and part of the club's leadership group – has been ruled out of the clash with the Lions at Hickey Park with groin soreness, while Li is still feeling the effects of a concussion sustained in a practice game against Fremantle two weeks ago.
FULL FIXTURE Every round, every game
Taking their place are 19-year-old midfielder Jaimi Tabb and 20-year-old ruck Caitlin Gould, who will both be making their debuts.
They join Najwa Allen, Chelsea Biddell, Nicole Campbell, Madison Newman and Courtney Gum – the former GWS star who has come out of retirement – as seven newcomers in the Crows' depleted line-up.
The Crows only have 21 of their initial 30-player list available for selection, with train-on players Rachelle Martin and Czenya Cavouras travelling with the team as emergencies.
Young ruck Montana McKinnon wasn't considered after she suffered knee soreness that required a scan on Thursday night.
