FOUR clubs have three representatives each in the AFLW team of the week for round three.
Collingwood midfielder Jaimee Lambert has polled 30 AFLCA votes so far and has also featured in all three editions of our team of the week, as has versatile Kangaroo Jasmine Garner.
AFLCA VOTES Check out who polled in round three
The team is selected to mirror the All Australian side: five defenders, six midfielders (including a ruck), five forwards and five interchange players.
Like the All Australian team, it has players selected in general categories, rather than in traditional positions. The 16-a-side set-up often means teams play with varying configurations, making set selections (e.g wings and flanks) difficult.
Defenders: Elle Bennetts (GWS), Isabel Huntington (Western Bulldogs), Mua Laloifi (Carlton), Kate Lutkins (Brisbane), Philipa Seth (Fremantle)
Lutkins was named best afield for her 21-disposal, 12-mark effort in the QClash, while fellow interceptor Huntington (15 and seven) was also strong in her return from concussion.
Laloifi (14 touches) and Seth (12, 10 of which were kicks) were strong rebounders for their sides and Bennetts had one of her best games behind the ball.
Midfielders: Jess Foley (Adelaide, ruck), Jaimee Lambert (Collingwood), Ebony Marinoff (Adelaide), Alyce Parker (GWS), Maddy Prespakis (Carlton), Ash Riddell (North Melbourne)
Adelaide's Foley (23 hitouts, 16 disposals) was the standout ruck this week, with Lambert (32 touches, eight tackles, four clearances and a goal) the star midfielder.
Marinoff (25, 12 tackles and 11 clearances) had an equally impressive performance, while Parker (22) was the dominant player at Blacktown.
Prespakis (24 and a whopping nine inside-50s) and Riddell (21 and seven clearances) were the keys to their teams' wins.
Forwards: Georgia Gee (Carlton), Caitlin Greiser (St Kilda), Danielle Higgins (Geelong), Danielle Ponter (Adelaide), Bec Privitelli (GWS)
There were goals galore in round three, with Ponter (four from 10 touches) leading the pack.
Higgins (19 disposals, two goals) was very busy, Privitelli's career renaissance continued with 13 touches and three goals, while Carlton small Gee also bagged three.
Greiser (10 and two goals) made an impact in just her third AFLW game.
Interchange: Jasmine Garner (North Melbourne), Kalinda Howarth (Gold Coast), Karen Paxman (Melbourne), Emma Kearney (North Melbourne), Rhiannon Watt (St Kilda)
Paxman (26 and six clearances) was Melbourne's best, with North Melbourne duo Garner (16 and one goal) and Kearney (12 and three) proving handfuls in multiple zones of the ground.
Watt (16 hitouts, 14 disposals and three marks) was influential in the Saints' first win and Howarth's three goals led the Suns to a surprise draw with Brisbane.
