North Melbourne's Jasmine Garner has starred in the middle and up forward this year, and Friday night was no exception.
Jaimee Lambert's Collingwood may have got a strong win on the board, but on the back of some starring midfield performances from other players, she missed the cut for the first time this year.

The Pies and GWS have the most representatives this week with three each.
The team is selected to mirror the All-Australian side: five defenders, six midfielders (including a ruck), five forwards and five interchange players.
Like the All-Australian team, it has players selected in general categories, rather than in traditional positions. The 16-a-side set-up often means teams play with varying configurations, making set selections (e.g wings and flanks) difficult.

Clara Fitzpatrick (St Kilda), Isabel Huntington (Western Bulldogs), Mua Laloifi (Carlton), Stacey Livingstone (Collingwood), Jade Pregelj (Gold Coast)
Fitzpatrick was the rock that helped keep Richmond goalless (picking up her first coaches' votes along the way), while Pregelj was likewise a thorn in West Coast's side.
Livingstone held the tricky Jesse Wardlaw quiet until she was forced to the ruck, with Huntington and Laloifi's strong intercept defensive seasons continuing for their respective sides.

MIDFIELDERS
Parris Laurie (West Coast, ruck), Jenna Bruton (North Melbourne), Britt Bonnici (Collingwood), Maddy Prespakis (Carlton), Karen Paxman (Melbourne), Alyce Parker (GWS)
Laurie was the only ruck to poll votes in the AFLCA count this round, with 14 disposals and five marks.
Up against the might of Adelaide's midfield, Parker had a career-high 30 disposals, with fellow young gun Prespakis (23 and a goal) dominating proceedings in Alice Springs.
In the same match, Paxman (27) was equally impressive, while Bonnici (26) ran riot in Brisbane. Quiet achiever Bruton had 21 pressure acts to go with her 21 disposals.

FORWARDS
Ebony Antonio (Fremantle), Jasmine Garner (North Melbourne), Caitlin Greiser (St Kilda), Kalinda Howarth (Gold Coast), Cora Staunton (GWS)
Greiser shot to the top of the AFLW goalkicking tally with three, while the dangerous Howarth casually pulled a bag of four out of her back pocket.
Staunton (three goals) has hit a rich vein of form and Antonio (19 disposals, 10 tackles and a goal) was a clear best on ground in Fremantle's win.
Meanwhile, Garner (18 and three) seems to take her game to a new level every week.

INTERCHANGE
Kiara Bowers (Fremantle), Brianna Davey (Collingwood), Dana Hooker (West Coast), Kate Hore (Melbourne), Pepa Randall (GWS)
Bowers (21 disposals, 12 tackles) broke her own record for most tackles in a season and did it a game faster than she did last year.
Randall was at her close-checking best, Brisbane's midfield was no match for Davey (22), while not only did Hore possibly kick the goal of the season, she had 19 disposals and six marks to go with it.
Hooker's side may be struggling, but the veteran isn't, with a career-high 31 touches and six marks.
