CARLTON is appealing AFLW best and fairest winner Maddy Prespakis' one-match suspension for a dangerous tackle against Sarah Hosking.
She was charged with rough conduct, with the incident graded as careless, medium impact and high contact.
That carries a one-match suspension with an early guilty plea.
Hosking left the ground for a concussion assessment but passed and played out the remainder of the game against her former club.
A suspension would mean Prespakis would be ineligible for this year's AFLW best and fairest.
