The Allies squad to compete at the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships – U18 Girls has been announced.

The 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships – U18 Girls will be played from late June through to August and will feature the most talented under 18 girls footballers from across Australia.

The Championships feature six teams – the Allies, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria Country, Victoria Metro and Western Australia. All teams will play three matches.

The 26-player Allies squad comprises players hailing from the ACT, New South Wales, Northern Territory and Tasmania.

Marsh AFL National Academy members and Australia U18 team representatives Emma Juneja, Ash Patton, Tatyana Perry and Mackenzie Williams all feature in the 2024 Allies squad.

Tasmanian bottom-ager Priya Bowering has also been included in the squad after being selected in the 2023 AFL National Development Championships – U16 Girls All Australian team.

Additional players may be included in the Allies squad throughout the Championships.

Sydney Swans Academy girls coach Tanya Hetherington has been appointed head coach.

The Allies will commence their campaign on Saturday, June 29 when they take on Victoria Metro at Blacktown International Sportspark in the opening game of the Championships.

They will then play Queensland at Brighton Homes Arena on Saturday, July 13 before finishing their campaign with a clash with South Australia at Thebarton Oval on Thursday, July 18.
