North Melbourne v Western Bulldogs
The Roos snagged the flag with a 20-point win over the Western Bulldogs on Sunday to close out the 2024 season.
In a game with plenty of big moments, North Melbourne got out to a strong early lead before the Dogs drew even ahead of the final break. But the last quarter was all Roos, as they ran away with the victory.
Dynamic forward Nyakoat Dojiok was named the Lisa Hardeman medallist as best on ground thanks to her four-goal, 14-disposal performance in the victory. The midfield trio of Madeleine Di Cosmo, Alana Barba, and Audrey Rhodes also continued their destructive form for North Melbourne, combining for 64 disposals, 35 tackles, 14 clearances, and three goals.
For the Bulldogs, captain Dom Carbone was outstanding as she got her hands dirty. She finished the game with 21 disposals and four clearances after leading the charge in her side's third-quarter comeback.
