THE AFL is proud to support the AFLW Toyota Good for Footy Week which will be held across week four of the 2024 NAB AFLW Season.

Commencing Tuesday, 17 September and running through to Sunday, 22 September, the AFLW Toyota Good for Footy Week will celebrate Toyota's significant contribution to Australian Rules Football from the grassroots to the elite level.

In 2024, Toyota is celebrating a record-breaking year with the Toyota Good for Footy Raffle assisting over 1,000 clubs, including inviting 70 participants to a special Good for Footy Week experience for the week four clash between Adelaide and Essendon in Adelaide.

Toyota and the Adelaide Crows will come together to give girls from local clubs the opportunity to participate in amazing experiences, see the players up close and enjoy an afternoon of hospitality at the match.

Additionally, Toyota will also partner with the AFLW Adelaide Crows for a third consecutive year to develop a football clinic that champions skills development and player development advice for teens looking to develop their footy toward playing at the highest level.

Off the back of a successful first year, Toyota has also continued its Good for Footy Super Clinics in Perth and Adelaide throughout 2024.

The Perth Toyota Good for Footy Clinic took place in August and saw 80 young girls learn skills, tips, and tricks from AFLW West Coat Eagles stars Dana Hooker, Charlotte Thomas, Isabella Lewis and AFL heroes Shannon Hurn and Harley Reid.

AFL Executive General Manager of Game Development, Rob Auld, thanked Toyota for its continued support across all levels of Australian Rules Football, from grassroots to the elite game.

"Toyota's partnership in grassroots footy is helping us to continue to grow the game, evidenced by our record breaking milestone of 500,000 registered participants Australia wide," Auld said.

"We've seen particularly exciting growth in the women and girls space, with more than 120,000 registered female participants in 2024, up 12 per cent on 2023, which would not be possible without initiatives like Toyota's Good for Footy Super Clinics."

Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer, Vin Naidoo, echoed the AFL's sentiments, emphasising Toyota's pride in championing Australia's favourite game at all levels.

"Toyota is immensely proud of the Toyota Good for Footy Program and our support of men's and women's leagues across Australia. This round celebrates the impact of the program on the wider AFLW community, which we hope continues the growth of the competition, from grassroots to elite levels," Naidoo said.

Toyota's commitment to grassroots football continues through initiatives such as the Toyota Good for Footy Raffle, the Toyota Good for Footy Gear Grants Program and the Toyota National Volunteer of the Year initiative.

The AFLW Toyota Good for Footy Week will kick off at IKON Park on Tuesday September 17 for the Week Four match between Collingwood and the West Coast Eagles, and concludes on Sunday, September 22.
