BOTH Gold Coast and Geelong will be looking to get their seasons back on track when the two sides face off on Saturday afternoon.

After drawing with North Melbourne in week two, the Cats failed to fire a shot - or kick a goal - last week against Essendon.

The Suns broke their duck last week with a last-minute draw against Greater Western Sydney, and will likely see the clash against the Cats as an opportunity to get onto the winners list for the first time this year.

St Kilda has exceeded expectations so far this year, and enters the round at the top of the ladder.

But Hawthorn has also performed well, losing its first game of the year against perennial contender Adelaide last week.

After a disappointing showing against North Melbourne last week, Melbourne will be looking to keep in touch with the leading pack when it travels to Perth to face Fremantle on Saturday afternoon.

The Dockers are finding some form again, defeating Port Adelaide last week.

The Dees will be without veteran midfielder Paxy Paxman, who misses through a foot injury.
