THE AFL is pleased to announce the fixture for Week 10 of the 2024 NAB AFLW Season, running from Friday, November 1 to Sunday, November 3.

As the home-and-away season draws to a close, Week 10 will play a crucial role in determining the finals line-up, with multiple matches expected to have an impact on the top four and top eight positions.

Week 10 will also be the second week where the AFLW celebrates Indigenous Round.

The week kicks off on Friday night with the Geelong Cats and Adelaide Crows at GMHBA Stadium, with the result having potential ramifications on Adelaide's place in the top four and Geelong's spot in the top eight.

Saturday features a string of important matches, starting with Melbourne taking on Collingwood at IKON Park in the early afternoon.

Later that day, the Sydney Swans will host the West Coast Eagles at Henson Park, followed by North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos battling Gold Coast SUNS at Arden Street Oval – a match that could be pivotal for North Melbourne's top-two chances.

The Saturday evening match between Carlton and Essendon at IKON Park could be decisive in the race for the top eight, with both clubs likely needing a win to stay in contention for finals.

The current top-three teams in the McClelland Trophy standing – the Brisbane Lions, Hawthorn and Fremantle – all play on the Sunday, with their results having potential ramifications for who claims the $1 million prize as the best-performed club across both the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and 2024 NAB AFLW Season.

Sunday begins with St Kilda facing the Brisbane Lions at RSEA Park. St Kilda could still be in the hunt for a finals berth, while Brisbane will be aiming to solidify their position in the top four.

Later that afternoon, Richmond will take on Hawthorn at Swinburne Centre in a match that could have top-four ramifications, before Port Adelaide hosts the GWS GIANTS at Alberton Oval in a match where Port Adelaide may be fighting to keep their finals hopes alive.

The final game of the round sees Fremantle meeting Western Bulldogs at Fremantle Oval, with the Dockers potentially looking to improve their finishing position ahead of the finals.

Emma Moore, General Manager of AFLW, said she was excited for the final week of the home and away season and was looking forward to celebrating the second half of Indigenous Round and crowning the McClelland Trophy winner.

"The 2024 NAB AFLW season has been great so-far, with the rise of new clubs and memorable moments every week," Ms Moore said.

"The race for the McClelland Trophy is heating up, with the Brisbane Lions, Hawthorn and Fremantle vying for the $1 million. By Sunday of Week 10, all eyes will be on who the best-performed club is across the men's and women's leagues.

"Week 10 promises to be a thrilling finale to the home-and-away season, and the AFL are especially proud to once again celebrate Indigenous Round, honouring the rich cultural contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to our game."

Josh Bowler, Head of Broadcast Operations and Scheduling, said he was pleased to deliver another fixture that maximised interest for fans.

"We are looking forward to what promises to be an exciting final week of the season," Mr. Bowler said.

"The stakes couldn’t be higher, with top-four and top-eight spots still in play. On behalf of the AFL, I'd like to thank all the clubs, venues and our broadcast partners for their cooperation in finalising this fixture and ensuring there is maximum drama for our fans on the final weekend of the home and away season."
