THE FINAL four AFLW list spots have been taken by South Australians, with the quartet set to move interstate for the AFLW season.

Collingwood has signed Bella Smith, St Kilda has added Tahlia Meyer, while Amber Ward and Lauren Gauci will be heading to West Coast.

If players are undrafted in their nominated state, clubs from elsewhere in the country can approach those players as long as they still have room on their lists.

With South Australia currently home to only one AFLW side in Adelaide (meaning only 30 spots are available), interstate teams are increasingly looking to the SANFLW as a source of talent.

Smith has played three seasons at SANFLW club Norwood, the same team Collingwood coach Steve Symonds led before he moved to the Pies.

A rebounding defender with a powerful left boot, she represented the Central Allies at last year's NAB AFLW under-18 championships.

Smith is a multi-talented athlete, having also played under-18 cricket for South Australia last year.

St Kilda recruit Meyer, 25, is a midfielder from South Adelaide, who can also be damaging up forward.

A composed player who makes good decisions, Meyer is a clean user of the footy. 

SANFLW has been a recruiting ground for the Saints outside of the traditional Victorian pathways, with Meyer joining Nadia von Bertouch and Hannah Priest on the club's list.

North Adelaide teammates Gauci and Ward are both defenders, with the Eagles having already added fellow back Julie-Anne Norrish in the draft.

Former soccer player Ward, 19, is a thumping clearing kick from defence, who recently starred in South Australia's NAB AFLW All-Stars match. 

The 23-year-old Gauci plays across half-back and reads the play well, with intercept marking a strength.
