Coach Trent Cooper said the club was prepared for anything and looked forward to helping the AFLW season continue, with his team scheduled to fly to South Australia on Saturday.
"There's quite a few different scenarios that could play out. We just have to be ready for all of them," Cooper said on Sunday.
"It'll be an anxious time for [the players], with their work and different things like that, but overall the group has responded really well to the news of what's happened today and we're really looking forward to helping the season go on wherever it does."
The Dockers are scheduled to face Adelaide at 4.40pm ACDT next Sunday, while West Coast is due to meet the Giants, also in Adelaide, at 12.40pm ACDT on Saturday.
