THERE are three new matches for round two of the NAB AFL Women's competition as COVID-19 restrictions litter the nation.

After being forced to quarantine in their home state this week, Adelaide will fly to play Greater Western Sydney at Blacktown International Sports Park on Sunday at 5.10pm (AEDT).

This match will be closed to the public.

Brisbane, who was originally supposed to host Geelong, will now welcome Queensland rivals Gold Coast to Hickey Park on Sunday afternoon (2.10pm AEST).

Geelong will instead remain in Victoria to play Collingwood at Victoria Park on Saturday (3.10pm AEDT). The Magpies were originally down to host the Suns (if you are attending an AFLW match in Victoria and you are standing or unable to socially distance, the AFL says please wear a mask).

These two changes have been made to negate interstate travel.

The two West Australian teams are still in limbo with another day left of the state's five-day hard lockdown.

AFL head of women's football Nicole Livingstone said the League would continue to take the advice of governments and health officials.

"The health and welfare of our players and the community remains the priority and we remain committed to delivering a full season in a safe manner anchored in the advice of respective governments, public health officials and medical experts," Ms Livingstone said.

Adelaide travelled to Sydney on Thursday to complete their isolation period, where the NSW Government has permitted the club to train and play against the Giants.
