ISABELLA Grant will don dad Chris' famous No.3 guernsey when she makes her NAB AFL Women's debut for the Western Bulldogs against Geelong on Friday night.

Grant, 19, will become first father-daughter selection to play for the Dogs, replacing the injured Bailey Hunt (calf) for the clash away at GMHBA Stadium.

Following in the footsteps of her father, who played 341 games during a stellar career, Grant's debut comes after an injury-plagued 2020 campaign due to a foot injury.

The Cats will also unveil mature-age midfielder Nicole Garner for the first time after dumping first-year midfielder Darcy Moloney and Georgia Clarke.

Garner, a former baseballer who previously captained Casey in the VFLW, spent last year on the Cats' list after being selected at pick No.50 in the 2019 NAB AFLW Draft.

Former vice-captain Bec Goring has been recalled for her first game of the season to provide another option in the Cats' leaky defence.
