Do not miss the rematch between the Brisbane Lions and the Western Bulldogs on the evening of Saturday, Feb 23, at the VU Whitten Oval.
These were the two top teams of last season, so the competition is going to be fierce. Expect some outstanding footy and an electric atmosphere for this match. Being on the Bulldog’s home turf, their fans will be out in droves to see where it’s at for 2019; and the Lions have a really exciting and diverse line-up to be sure contenders. Arrive early too, because there’ll be heaps of extras to make a night of it: food trucks, a Cape Grim BBQ, and the Two Birds Brewing Tent. Bulla Dairy will be handing out free ice cream and Victoria Uni will be offering free massages. Great tunes are always in the mix, this time with a DJ brought to you by the legends at Bob Jane T-Marts. And, for the kids, there’s face-painting, temporary tattoos, Bulldogs inflatables, and a kids dance group.
