AROUND this time two years ago, Brisbane and Collingwood played in round seven in what was a turning point for both clubs.

It proved to be coach Wayne Siekman's last game, with the inaugural coach replaced by Steve Symonds.

If the Lions had won, they would have qualified for finals in Geelong's stead, but would surely had found the going incredibly tough against Adelaide in the prelim.

Fast forward to the present day, and the teams are now first (Collingwood) and third (Brisbane) on the AFLW ladder, and poised to meet in a game which could have ramifications for the top two.
