THE AFL wishes to advise the Match Review of Round Seven of the NAB AFL Women’s Competition has been completed. Three charges were laid.

Charges Laid:

Grace Campbell, North Melbourne, has been charged with  Rough Conduct (Dangerous Tackle) against Kirsty Lamb, Western Bulldogs, during the second quarter of the Round Seven match between North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs, played at North Hobart Oval on Saturday March 13. 

In summary, she can accept a reprimand with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Low Impact and High Contact. The incident was classified as a $400 sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a reprimand with an early plea.

Chelsea Randall, Adelaide Crows, has been charged with Rough Conduct (Dangerous Tackle) against Lily Mithen, Melbourne, during the third quarter of the Round Seven match between Melbourne and Adelaide, played at Casey Fields on Saturday March 13. 

In summary, she can accept a reprimand with an early plea.

Emma Swanson, West Coast Eagles, has been charged with Engaging in Rough Conduct against Georgie Rankin, Geelong, during the fourth quarter of the Round Seven match between the West Coast Eagles and Geelong, played at Mineral Resources Park, on Monday March 15. 

In summary, she can accept a two match sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, High Impact and High Contact. The incident was classified as a two-match sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a two match sanction with an early plea.
