CARLTON may have fallen just short of finals but it leads the way in the AFL Players Association's 22under22 squad of 40, which is overflowing with emerging talent.
The Blues have five nominations: the midfield core of Maddy Prespakis, Grace Egan, Abbie McKay and Lucy McEvoy, with lively forward Georgia Gee rounding out the group.
Collingwood key forward Chloe Molloy was the eventual skipper of last year's side and has once again been nominated, along with backline duo Jordy Allen and Lauren Butler.
Every team is represented, and debutants Maddy Levi, Georgia Garnett, Courtney Hodder, Ellie McKenzie, Tyanna Smith, Bella Lewis and Jess Fitzgerald have been named after their first season at the top level.
The squad was picked by the AFLPA with support from Champion Data, with fans now able to vote until Wednesday, April 14 for the eventual best 22.
