FIFTEEN-year-old Lauren Young has taken out the SANFLW best-and-fairest award.
The versatile West Adelaide product capped off a brilliant debut season at senior level, also taking out the coaches' award.
It's been a stellar few months for Young, who was granted special allowance to play in the NAB AFLW Under-19 Championships. Primarily lining up as a tall midfielder (179cm), she was named South Australia's MVP at the conclusion of the state's games.

She is part of Port Adelaide's Next Generation Academy, and will be eligible for the NAB AFLW Draft in 2023.
Young held a one-vote lead coming into the final round before polling the maximum three in the last game of the home-and-away season to finish with 18.
Glenelg's Jessica Bates and Central District's Shelby Smith finished equal second on 14 votes.
Chantel Reynolds (Central District) was the SANFLW's leading goalkicker, while Sturt captain Maya Rigter won the leadership award.
