AFLW-Listed Players

Peel Thunder have handed Swan Districts their first loss of the season in the WAFLW, with Sabreena Duffy again one of the Thunderbirds' best in the big win.

Mikayla Hyde and Bianca Webb did their best to keep Swan Districts' unbeaten streak alive but couldn't get their side over the line.

South Fremantle’s winless season extended into round 14 with a loss against biggest rivals East Fremantle. Gabby O’Sullivan was amongst five multiple goalkickers for the Sharks and Fremantle teammate Philipa Seth was also instrumental in the win.

State League Players  

Peel Thunder’s Kate Bartlett was back kicking goals for her side, putting two past Swan Districts in the win and was well supported by Kaitlyn Hayes.

Western Australian under-19 representative Lauren Wakfer was named South Fremantle's best player in the loss to East Fremantle.

Claremont and Subiaco played out a one-point thriller that saw Subiaco come from behind to snatch the win. Another WA under-19 talent Amy Franklin had two crucial goals for Claremont and Jessica Low was named in the best for the Tigers in the close loss.

Subiaco held on for the win thanks to the work of Jessica Ritchie and Amy Hunt, with the latter kicking a crucial goal for the Lions.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA 

AFLW-Listed Players

Ebony Marinoff was the star for Glenelg when it took out its first ever SANFLW Premiership by 23 points over West Adelaide. Marinoff was awarded the best-on-ground medal for her work in the midfield gathering 31 disposals, five tackles, five clearances and two goals - including a brilliant soccer in the goal square to seal the win.

She could have easily shared the medal with her Crows teammate Caitlin Gould who also dominated with her 21 disposals, eight marks (six contested), five clearances and 27 hit outs.

Sarah Dargan kicked a crucial goal for West Adelaide in the second quarter and had 14 disposals with Chelsea Biddell also hitting the scoreboard to go with her 14 disposals and six marks.

State League Players  

Glenelg’s Jessica Bates and Chelsea Packer were instrumental in the win, each collecting 12 and 13 disposals respectively and applying plenty of pressure.

Jess Searle kicked two goals to help the Bays on the way to the premiership, and Brooke Tonon and Piper Window also played a role in the win with both gathering 14 touches.

After winning the league best and fairest earlier in the week, Lauren Young was one of the best on the ground for West Adelaide collecting 18 disposals, six marks and four tackles.

Sharnie Whiting had a team high 24 disposals for the Westies and Zoe Venning and Abbie Ballard were also in West Adelaide’s best.

QUEENSLAND 

AFLW-Listed Players 

Dakota Davidson kicked four goals for the second week in a row to help University of Queensland on its way to a 71-point win over Aspley. The Lions' Bre Koenen also played a role in University of Queensland’s big win.

Jess Wuetschner also had a day out for Coorparoo, kicking four goals in a 62-point win over Coolangatta Tweed. Coorparoo had plenty of AFLW talent on show with Ally Anderson, Jade Ellenger and Tori Groves-Little all appearing in the win.

Bond University were able to break away from Maroochydore in the second half to remain unbeaten this season. Taylor Smith was instrumental with her three goals and Ellie Hampson did her job through the midfield with fellow Suns Wallis Randell and Lucy Single also ensuring Bond held onto to its undefeated run.

Shannon Campbell and Isabel Dawes fought hard for Maroochydore but couldn’t get the job done against Bond University.

Emily Bates and Jordan Zanchetta helped Yeronga South Brisbane on its way to a 50-point win over Wilston Grange.

The Lions' 2020 draftee Zimmorlei Farquharson played her first game of the QAFLW season since March this year and hit the scoreboard for Yeronga in the win.

State League Players  

Rachel Vetter also put through four goals alongside Dakota Davidson in University of Queensland's big win over Aspley with Luka Yoshida-Martin also instrumental in the win.

Coorparoo’s Rose Collins was commended for efforts in her sides win with Emma Mckenzie also getting the nod for efforts that included two goals.

Courtney Sexton was in the votes for her performance in Bond University’s come-from-behind win against Maroochydore, while Jacqueline Dupuy did her best to get the Roos over the line.

Adrienne Keeffe and Emmii-Lee Zanker-Close combined for five goals against Wilston Grange and put Yeronga on its way to a win.

VICTORIA

There was no VFLW this weekend due to the seven day lockdown in the state.

NEW SOUTH WALES

AFLW-Listed Players

Three goals to Tarni Evans set the East Coast Eagles up for a 41-point win over Sydney University and stay unbeaten this season. Evans' Giants teammate Georgia Garnett was also in the best for her work for the Eagles that also included a goal.

Giants midfield trio Emily Goodsir, Lisa Steane and Erin McKinnon were instrumental in Manly’s 110-point win over the UNSW Eastern Suburbs Bulldogs.

Inner West Magpies moved into third on the ladder with a thrilling two-point win over Southern Power. Rebecca Privitelli had two crucial goals for the Magpies.

Nicola Barr appeared for the first time this season for the North Shore Bombers who just held off the fast finishing Macquarie University to get over the line by 3 points.

State League Players

Holly Graham and Isabella Rudolph both kicked four goals for Manly in strong performances in their side's big win.

UTS had an 18-point win over Pennant Hills Demons with Kaitlin McCaffery kicking three goals and Kate Heal also noted for her work in the win.

Sarah Heptinstall was in the votes for Southern Power for her efforts in a close loss while Tanya Kennedy was the Magpies best in the close game.

Macquarie University’s Steffanie Lee did her best to get her side its first win of the season while Sophie Gidley was the North Shore Bombers' best for the second week in a row and helped them take the win by just three points.

CANBERRA 

State League Players

Britt Tully returned for the Ainslie Tricolours and helped them make it two in a row with a win over the Eastlake Demons. Tully was in the votes for her efforts in the win.

State League Players

Hannah Wallett kicked a haul of nine goals in the Belconnen Magpies' 178-point win over the Gungahlin Jets with her teammate Emma Zouch also kicking a bag of five.

Natasha Mckay was also highlighted in the Magpies' big win which keeps them on top of Canberra's First Grade ladder.

Emylee Hawke played a key role in the Ainslie Tricolours' win over the Eastlake Demons with Catherine Brown the best for the opposition. 

Former Gold Coast Sun Alexia Hamilton put six goals past Tuggeranong Valley's defence in the Queanbeyan Tigers' 145-point win in a best-on-ground performance.

Kate McGrath was also commended for efforts for the Tigers and Emily Newton put through the Tuggeranong’s only goal and was the team's best player in the loss.
