ADELAIDE could be without the experienced Courtney Cramey for up to a month after she suffered a left hamstring strain last weekend.

The 33-year-old hurt her leg in the second quarter of the 42-point win over Fremantle. 

"Scans have come back showing a grade two strain, which means Courtney is likely to be out for two to four weeks," Adelaide physical performance coach Brad Newton told the club website. 

"Hopefully she will be ready to return in round seven (against Melbourne), but we will make a call that week." 

Teammate Jess Sedunary is yet to play a game this season and continues to battle a Lisfranc injury in her foot.

She has returned to running and is aiming for a return in round six or seven, but the club is being cautious with the forward.

The Western Bulldogs could be boosted by the return of two important forwards for their match against Fremantle on Sunday.

Isabel Huntington and Brooke Lochland will need to successfully get through training this week in order to be selected. 

Huntington, the No.1 pick from the 2017 NAB AFLW Draft, hasn't played since rupturing her right ACL in round two of the 2018 season. She had a setback in December, spraining the reconstructed knee. 

Lochland had surgery on January 21 for a fractured right fibula sustained in the Bulldogs' practice match against Collingwood. 

She was the leading goalkicker in 2018.

Co-captain Ellie Blackburn went to hospital for observation after a heavy head knock against the Lions last Saturday night, but the club was taking extreme precaution and she was released with "no concussive symptoms".

Collingwood was already low on key forwards coming into the season and will be without Sarah D'Arcy for one to two weeks with a hamstring injury.

The forward was a late withdrawal from the Magpies team which lost to Greater Western Sydney on Sunday. 

Key back Ash Brazill (concussion from round three) and important midfielder Britt Bonnici (hand injury suffered while smothering against the Giants) will need to pass tests in order to play against Carlton. 

Brisbane captain Leah Kaslar was a late withdrawal from the match against the Western Bulldogs, failing to overcome a left calf injury suffered in round three. 

The club says she is "likely" to play against Geelong on Saturday. 

Giants ruck Erin McKinnon was a late withdrawal on Sunday with gastro but has recovered. 

First-year Giants midfielder Alyce Parker had a concussion test in-match but passed and is fine to play this weekend against Melbourne.
