CARLTON has signed former basketballer Jess Good to complete its list for the 2022 NAB AFL Women's competition.

The Blues had one remaining spot available after passing on their final pick in Tuesday's NAB AFLW Draft.

Good, 26, was picked up via the undrafted free agency period which allows clubs to sign a player from a state other than their own.

It won't take long for the 185cm ruck to make friends at Ikon Park, with Good a former basketball teammate of Carlton skipper Kerryn Harrington.

Good impressed at SANFLW level with Sturt this season and Carlton general manager of women's football Brett Munro described Good as a "natural athlete".

"We’re really pleased to welcome Jess to our football club," Munro said.

"She is a natural athlete with a strong competitive streak and we’re really confident she will be an exciting prospect for our club. We can’t wait to see her in action in the navy blue."

St Kilda is the only club with a remaining list spot and has been linked to 29-year-old ruck Leah Cutting, who represents Norwood in the SANFLW.
