NORTH Melbourne defender Jess Duffin is in red-hot form but will be faced with another challenge on Saturday, coming up against former side Collingwood.
Speaking on the Credit to the Girls podcast, Duffin said she had thought about her ex-teammates a bit in the lead-up to the match, the first in-season AFLW game at Marvel Stadium.
"I think every person who's playing their old side is probably lying if they say they say they don't think about it," Duffin said.
"But at the same time, I didn't leave on bad terms at all with Collingwood, and I had a really good conversation with Wayne (Siekman, Collingwood coach) at the end of the season, so I'm not expecting them to come out and throw themselves around at me or anything like that.
"I think it's just going to be a really good contest. They've got some plans against us and we've got some plans against them, so I probably won't think about it to the game, I guess."

Duffin also discusses the Kangaroos' first loss for the season to Adelaide, what makes the Crows so good, combining football and cricket and her own strong form.
