FORMER Melbourne key forward Tegan Cunningham could be on the verge of a shock comeback, having nominated for the upcoming NAB AFLW Draft.
The 33-year-old hung up the boots late in the AFLW Sign and Trade Period after 32 games and 25 goals over four seasons at the Demons.

She has nominated the Victorian draft pool.
Cunningham is a strong marking target with excellent reach and has proven to be difficult to defend in one-on-one contests across her AFLW career.
A long-term elite athlete prior to joining the AFLW, Cunningham had a five-year stint in the US College basketball system before an eight-year career in the WNBL.
Another veteran, former Brisbane and Gold Coast skipper Leah Kaslar, has nominated for the Victorian pool of the draft.
The 35-year-old was delisted by the Suns after a cumulative 36 games across her five seasons at both clubs.
Kaslar is more traditionally a key defender, but spent considerable time in attack at Gold Coast.
