TWO KEY forwards are the round three NAB AFLW Rising Star nominees.

Courteney Munn was a four-goal hero for North Melbourne in her debut game, while Melbourne's Eden Zanker kicked one and had an equal career-high 11 disposals.

Munn only started playing football in 2017 for then-VFLW side Seaford Tigerettes. She was drafted by North Melbourne with pick 36 at the 2018 NAB AFLW Draft from Southern Saints.

The 20-year-old's four-goal haul came from 11 disposals at an impressive 91 per cent disposal efficiency. She also took four marks and had a clearance.

Her composure in front of goal and ability to get into dangerous positions were impressive.

Zanker is in her second year on Melbourne's list, having been selected sixth overall in the 2017 NAB AFLW Draft.

The Bendigo Pioneers product has looked markedly more comfortable at AFLW level this season, playing all three games to go with the three she played last year.

She is averaging nine disposals (up from four last year), two marks and two tackles a match.

Zanker, 19, was in Melbourne's best against Brisbane, consistently providing a target, competing well in the ruck when required and looking dangerous around goal.

Players are eligible for this year's award if they were 21 or under as of January 1, 2019, and had not been previously nominated.
