THERE'S a top-of-the-table clash in Conference B this weekend, and star Brisbane midfielder Emma Zielke says beating Geelong in the contested ball will go a long way to deciding the winner.
Speaking on the Credit to the Girls podcast, Zielke said a focus on forward pressure helped deliver the Lions an important win over the Bulldogs last weekend.
Another tricky affair awaits against Geelong on Saturday afternoon at Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex.
"It's a difficult one, because we don't know too much about them," Zielke said.
"We can obviously do our homework on the last four rounds they've played. We know they are a really good contested ball-winning team, so we need to make sure that we also bring that on Saturday."
