THE 2022 NAB AFL Women's premiership is a race between three, according to the coaches themselves.

Womens.afl put the call out to all 14 AFLW coaches, with 12 taking up the challenge of placing their tips for the upcoming season.

Reigning premier Brisbane and 2021 preliminary finalists Collingwood and Melbourne were the coaches' picks for this year's flag.

Collingwood was front of mind for quite a few coaches, with Chloe Molloy tipped to take out the leading goalkicker award and Bri Davey to go back-to-back in the AFLW best and fairest.

Davey and fellow best and fairest Kiara Bowers were understandably given the nod as the toughest opposition player to plan for.

Geelong midfielder Georgie Prespakis is the coaches' overwhelming favourite for the NAB AFLW Rising Star, with fellow top draft picks Charlie Rowbottom and Charlie Thomas also expected to be in the mix.

2022 FIXTURE Every match, every round

Adelaide may have surprisingly not received a single nomination for flag favourite, but the Crows are the side the coaches dread facing on their home deck, ahead of Brisbane and Melbourne.
