ALICIA Eva will lead Greater Western Sydney for a third successive year, but has a refreshed leadership group supporting her.
Recruit Chloe Dalton has jumped straight into a leadership role in her first season at the club, while 21-year-old Alyce Parker and former No.1 pick Nicola Barr are also making their leadership group debuts.
Veteran Irishwoman Cora Staunton and defender Pepa Randall have maintained their spots, the latter's third season in the role.
The departed Jess Dal Pos is the only player to have left the group, and all five players will hold the role of vice-captain.
"We're thrilled Alicia leads us into another season as captain," coach Alan McConnell said.
"She is an outstanding person and captain and her record in leading from the front, setting the standard and being a pillar of strength through tough situations speaks for itself.
"Pepa and Cora have been in this group before, but they thoroughly deserve their selections as key members of our side both on and off the field.
"It's exciting for Nic to reach this level as someone who has been part of our club from the very start. She is passionate and driven and wants to have an impact.
WHO’S WEARING WHAT? New recruits’ AFLW jumper numbers revealed
"Alyce is already a star of the competition on the field but she also has a huge amount to offer off the field and though young, she has a wealth of experience that she brings to this group.
"Chloe brings a fresh perspective from someone who has achieved a lot in the sporting sphere and has also used her voice to effect real change."

West Coast is the only other side to have confirmed its leadership group.
Emma Swanson remains as captain and Dana Hooker as vice-captain, the third time around for the duo.
Ruck Parris Laurie has been joined by Irish midfielder Aisling McCarthy in the leadership group, which has lost Courtney Guard and the delisted Alicia Janz.
