Greater Western Sydney defender Bríd Stack will make her long-awaited AFLW debut a year after fracturing a vertebra in her neck.
The Irishwoman suffered the injury in a practice match, resulting in a tense and tumultuous AFLW Tribunal, the subsequent lengthy appeal seeing Ebony Marinoff's three-match suspension cleared.
Stack will be joined by fellow club debutants Chloe Dalton, Jasmine Grierson, Katie Loynes, ruck Ally Morphett and midfielder Ally Dallaway.
Meanwhile, the Western Bulldogs have made a forced change for Saturday night's Hampson-Hardeman Cup against Melbourne, losing yet another defender in Sarah Hartwig (AFL health and safety protocols), with Gemma Lagioia joining the team.
The Dogs are already without key backs Katie Lynch and Ellyse Gamble, while Aurora Smith is now an emergency.
