COLLINGWOOD has been encouraged to embrace pressure from opposition sides after its disappointing 31-point loss to Fremantle.
The Pies were outplayed at every turn, with the side's sole goalscorer – vice-captain Brit Bonnici – joining the Credit to the Girls podcast to talk through the result.
"It was really just getting back to what we do best, making sure we nail the basics, taking on that pressure and being excited when teams bring that pressure," Bonnici said.
"We love the contest, and we love that in-and-under footy, so just getting back to enjoying that, enjoying – as crazy as it sounds – the hits of footy and feeling sore the next day.
"I don't think we played our game or our brand of footy against Freo, and that's complete credit to them, because they took our game away from us."
