BROUGHT TO YOU BYNAB

In Round 9, the Demons headed to Perth to face the Dockers, landing a record-breaking 88-point win and jumping to the top of the ladder. Check out what Daisy Pearce got up to during her time away from Melbourne (and when she wasn't being top goal-scorer!) in this epic photo series for our final instalment of Play Away, with AFLW Partner, Accor.

This was a really quick trip with not a lot of downtime, but one of the highlights was walking to Gusto Gelato with the team on Saturday night after we won our game and enjoying an ice cream together under the city lights at the docks. It was such a beautiful night!

The team stayed at the Mercure Perth. It had big comfy beds in really quiet, dark rooms.

Just knowing that I wouldn't be woken up by little people and had zero responsibilities overnight meant I got the best sleep.

I did a 20-minute yoga session on the morning of our game, and it was such a beautiful way to start the day and get my body moving again after the flight over.

FaceTime is a great way to touch base and our three-year-olds stay a bit more engaged being able to see each other.

We usually have one call a day which might last one minute or 15, depending on the mood of the toddlers.

Ben and our awesome families who help out while I'm on the road know that they cannot send too many photos, so that I can see what Sylvie and Roy are up to while I'm away!

It is so true that pictures tell 1000 words because I love seeing their busy, happy little faces while they're going about their day, I can just tell they're happy and coping just fine without me - soothes the deep-seated mum guilt for being away!

They also enjoy getting photos of aeroplanes I'm going on and other exciting things that I'm up to while I'm away, I think it helps give it all a bit of context for them!

While away l like to relax with long walks to take it all in and find the best coffee spots.

Seeking out natural attractions like beaches, bush walks, or a city's botanic gardens (like Kings Park - stunning!) I'm constantly getting my phone out to take pics and capture memories.
