Biography

The Sydney Swans welcomed forward Laura Gardiner to the club in 2023 after securing a trade with the Geelong Cats. She made her AFLW debut in 2021 and in the same year for the VFLW Gardiner amassed 49 possessions against Port Melbourne, breaking the record for most disposals in a game. Her star power quickly became apparent at the Swans averaging 29.1 disposals and 9.1 tackles. At the conclusion of the season she was named Club Champion.
