HAWTHORN will have Luke Hodge line up for its first final after the dual premiership captain received a two-game suspension from the Match Review Panel for his dangerous bump on Chad Wingard.
The AFL announced on Tuesday morning that Hodge had accepted his penalty, rather than risk an extra week by contesting the charge at the Tribunal.
Hodge was in danger of missing his team's qualifying final after being cited for engaging in rough conduct against the young Port star in the Hawks' loss to the Power on Friday night.
But he will only miss the final two rounds of the home and away season after being hit with the two-game ban by the MRP, which graded the incident as careless conduct and medium impact to the head.

The assessment brought a two-game ban, which increased to be three weeks given his bad record (Hodge was suspended for three games for striking North Melbourne's Andrew Swallow in round five).
But the 31-year-old was able to take a two-week suspension with an early plea, which sees him outed for the Hawks' clashes with the Brisbane Lions and Carlton – the bottom two teams on the ladder.
Hodge was the only player suspended after the round's games, with Fremantle star Nat Fyfe cleared of his match-day report for front-on contact with North Melbourne's Ben Jacobs.
The report against Collingwood's Jarryd Blair for forceful front-on conduct against Tiger Anthony Miles was also thrown out. The MRP suggested Blair had "no real alternative" in how he contested the ball.
Fyfe's Dockers teammate David Mundy accepted a $1000 fine with an early plea for striking Kangaroos veteran Brent Harvey.
His whack on the 404-gamer was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact to the body, and brought a $1500 sanction that was reduced with the early plea.
Richmond midfielder Dustin Martin faces further scrutiny by the AFL's football operations department for making a gesture to the Collingwood section of the crowd in Saturday's big win.
Meanwhile, Fremantle’s Zac Clarke could be sidelined this weekend after being offered a one-match ban for striking during Saturday’s Peel-Perth WAFL clash.
The incident was assessed as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact following a review of match vision and a medical update.
The Freo big man can accept a one-match suspension if he pleads guilty.
