St Kilda Football Club is delighted to announce the appointments of Adam Kingsley and Paul Hudson to finalise its 2011 coaching panel.

Highly respected Adam Kingsley joins the Saints following four years as an Assistant Coach at Port Adelaide Football Club.

Recruited as part of the Power’s inaugural side in 1997, Kingsley went on to play 170 games for Port and we won the Club’s Best & Fairest award in 1998. The Power defender was also a member of the successful 2004 Port Adelaide Premiership team.

The sought after Assistant will bolster the St Kilda coaching department, working alongside newly appointed Assistants, Peter Berbakov, Robert Harvey and Steven King.

The Saints have also secured former Collingwood Assistant Coach Paul Hudson as Development Manager, after two years service with the 2010 Premiers (2009 - 2010).

A member of Hawthorn’s 1991 Premiership side, Hudson played a total of 245 games in his 13 year AFL career, before beginning his coaching career with TAC Cup side Gippsland Power. Winning the Premiership in his first year at the Club in 2005, Hudson spent two years with Gippsland before extending his coaching experience at Brisbane Lions from 2007 - 2008.

The Saints are pleased to be able to welcome these two key additions for the 2011 season, whose knowledge of the game will add an extra element of depth to the St Kilda coaching personnel.

“With the 2010 season only just behind us, we are pleased to have been able to secure the expertise of Adam and Paul. These are terrific appointments for the Club and hold us in great stead as we prepare for another solid season in 2011”, St Kilda Senior Coach Ross Lyon said.
