WHAT'S better than a hole-in-one? Two, if you're Fremantle duo Ed Langdon and Joel Hamling, making for an ace day for the Dockers.
They're still celebrating their golfing heroics from a whacky Wednesday on Perth's fairways.
Playing separately on different courses, both players scored aces – their first holes-in-one.
To Hamling's chagrin, Langdon's was just a little more special.
Dockers defender Hamling thought he'd claimed bragging rights when, playing with a group of teammates at Glen Iris Golf Course, sunk his first shot on the 140m, par-three 12th hole.

"I had a nine-iron and went back into my bag and got a seven-iron. I hit a slight fade and it took one bounce and went in," Hamling told the club website.
"There were about eight blokes there around us. I was with Taylin (Duman), Brandon (Matera), Coxy (Brennan Cox), Shane (Kersten), Trav (Colyer). They all ran over when it went in."
Down the road at Point Walter Golf Course, teammate Langdon was hitting them "pretty terribly" but still managed to become the first player to sink an extraordinary tee shot on the 292m, par-four eighth hole.
"I just flushed it," Langdon said.
I felt it was on a good line. When we got up to the green we were having a look around and we couldn't find it.
"I was feeling really flat as I couldn't figure out where it went. Then one of the guys I was playing with had a look in the hole and it was in there. It was pretty exciting stuff.
"To be honest, I was just having a bit of a whack and seeing how it went. I just hit it as hard as I could."
Hamling was naturally a little deflated when he learned he'd been trumped.
"Really? Which hole was it? On the eighth? How far did he drive it? He's playing us surely," Hamling said, describing his reaction.
"Nah, I don't mind that at all. It's pretty cool."
