TAYLOR Hunt and former first-round draft pick Mitch Brown are among Geelong's latest set of delisted players.

The Cats announced on Tuesday morning that Hunt, Brown and Joel Hamling would not be offered new contracts for 2015.


Hunt enjoyed the most success of Tuesday's delisted trio, playing 63 games in six seasons with Geelong.


Hunt made his name as a run-with midfielder but fell out of favour this season, playing just seven games and none after round nine.


Brown was pick No.15 in the 2008 national draft, but the key-position player managed just 15 games for the Cats after struggling with injury early in his career.

Geelong's decision to bring in mature tall targets Rhys Stanley and Mitch Clark from St Kilda and Melbourne during the post-season trade period may have contributed to the decision to let Brown go.

Brown played in the Cats' 2012 VFL premiership team and booted 98 goals in 63 VFL games for Geelong. 

Key-position player Hamling did not manage a senior game in three seasons at Simonds Stadium after being taken at pick No.32 in the 2011 national draft.

The West Australian played 42 VFL games for the Cats and finished third in their VFL best and fairest this year.
