Club President Jim Stynes knows all about achieving dreams.  He has achieved many of his, both in football and the community, and works with young people to help them to achieve theirs.

One of the key messages of Youth Round is that kids are more likely to fulfil their dreams if they write them down.  In order to help them do this,  Round One’s AFL Record will include a special section, where Jim Stynes wants all young people at the game to write down their dream, take it home, and put it somewhere where they will see it every day.

In order to help send this message to the world, 200 young people will be forming a Field of Dreams on the MCG on Saturday.  There will be many others on the MCG on Saturday who are fulfilling their dreams, and who are working towards future dreams.

From Cam Sinclair, fulfilling his dream of making a jump onto the MCG, to our players, reaching the highest level of AFL and reaching for greater achievements in this season and seasons to come, and to all those watching the game, the MCG is the holder of many dreams.

If you can’t make it to Saturday’s game, we still encourage you to write your dream down and put it somewhere that you will see it every day.
