PORT ADELAIDE midfielder Dom Cassisi says his team’s focus will be solely on the footy in Sunday’s Showdown XXV.

The Power were accused of taking their physicality too far following the bruising six-point loss to Adelaide in round three, but Cassisi said Port Adelaide’s emphasis was, and will remain, on the ball.

'We're going to go out there and go flat-out for sure; the Crows will be doing the same,” Cassisi said.

“We'll attack the game like we did on the weekend against North Melbourne. Our tackling and hard ball gets were up and we want to continue to do that -- that means hitting the ball hard and being hard at it.

"We want to focus on the footy for sure. We can't afford to give away silly free kicks for going at the man and every team's focus is to attack the footy hard."

Cassisi made the grand final of Tuesday’s Balfours yo-yo Showdown in Rundle Mall, but lost narrowly to Crows opponent Chris Knights.

The underrated onballer took his punishment, which was to eat a Crows-coloured Showdown donut, and he didn’t waste the opportunity to point out Adelaide’s donut was in fact pink, not red.

Cassisi said the Power were committed to winning each of their remaining seven games this season, starting with Sunday’s Showdown.

"The Crows have lost a few games of late and they'll be fired up and ready to get a win back on the board. We're just looking forward to another challenge."
