The Brisbane Lions have made four changes to the senior side ahead of Saturday night’s clash against the Sydney Swans at the SCG.

Luke Power (hip) and Justin Sherman (thigh) return after missing last week’s match against Melbourne while 21 year-old Matt Austin has been called up for his first senior match in 2010.

New recruit Amon Buchanan has also been selected after overcoming a broken thumb suffered in the opening quarter of the Lions’ Round One match against West Coast and is set to take on his former side for the first time.

Buchanan played 116 matches in nine seasons with the Swans from 2001-2009 and will certainly feel at home playing at the familiar SCG.

Full-back Daniel Merrett has been ruled out with a hamstring tear while Tom Rockliff, Albert Proud and James Hawksley have all been omitted from the side that was comprehensively beaten by the Demons last Saturday night.

Travis Johnstone will reach a significant milestone against the Swans when he runs out for his 200th AFL match.

Johnstone played 160 matches with Melbourne before joining the Lions via trade at the end of 2007 where he has since added a further 39 games.
